not sure if it's been mentioned, but you'll need a 24mm socket for the female bodylift bolts.

read the instructions, they're pretty good + with what everyone has said here you'll piss it in... i know there is a girl on here fitted one of greg's vitara bodylift kits, without instructions!

What's it mean by undoing the steering colum on a body lift :/ bot entirely sure so thought I should ask

in the engine bay there are 2 uni joints on the steering shaft, on at the steering box & the other at the firewall. there is a splined section that they attach to, on the 2 uni's there is a rubber boot & a bolt on each uni joint to clamp them onto the spline on the box & the shaft that comes through the fire wall.

loosen both of these off & give the splined section a spray with WD40/RP7

Is there anyone that can help me out tonight doing this really need some help I'm trying to get the right hand side one in behind the left wheel and I can't get it

It's like where he door hingers are on the right side, mite try lifting it different

Drivers side there are break lines near it that can't be moved

brake lines shouldn't be a problem, have you unbolted the brake distribution block from the chassis rail? 2 small bolts in the middle of it have been removed in the pic


also unclip the speedo cable.

you've undone both uni's on the steering shaft?

once the lift is in you should be able to bolt it back up as per normal, might need to tweak the lines a bit... BE CAREFUL NOT TO DAMAGE OR KINK THEM!!!!!!!!

I actually can't get to both uni bolts so iv undone it inside and ill look into that and make sure I don't

i don't think inside is going to work, as thats a separate shaft that isn't effected by the BL.

did you try turning the steering wheel to get bolt in an easily accessible position & then take the key out to lock it with the steering lock.
