Will this kit fit the Coily sierra?

Yes it will fit the coil sierra - I have used the same body lift parts for a coil and leaf sierra. However, why not buy a body lift from a local supplier? Just Cruzin and Fatzook both have ads for body lifts in the business section, which are made here.

Check the requirements for a BL in your state too - I'm not sure where you are, but Just Cruzin's kits are legal in QLD and perhaps most other states, but are definitely not legal in Victoria. Fatzooks are legal everywhere.

The lowrange kit won't be legal in Victoria.

QLD allows the use of plastic/nylon lift blocks whereas Victoria insist you use aluminium or steel.

So a kit with nylon blocks will be perfectly legal in QLD and make you a criminal in Vic.
Don't know the rules for NSW.

"Criminal" might be a bit strong a word, but it would attract a defect notice. As there is no fine or demerit points attached to this, it's more an inconvenience than anything, but best avoided.

Likewise, I don't know the rules for NSW.

PS the nylon/urethane lifts made by Just cruzin contain a steel sleeve, and I have no issue with their performance or safety myself, we just cant use them down here. As far as I am aware the low range kits do not contain a steel sleeve and I wouldn't recommend them, regardless of what state you are in. I am sure they are work, but I wouldn't run them.

My poly blocks for the fixed body studs don't have crush tubes as the female bolt acts as the crush tube. Same material as what's used for mobile crane baseplates, tested to 20 tonne.

I don't think what cranes use for base plates is relevant to what vicroads will accept. That's not a value judgement, it's just a comment. We're not going to change vicroads mind about this, and it's not likely to be resolved through the NCOP, considering we've been working within the limitations of the ncop here in Vic for many years.

I think the powers that be have just played it safe and excluded that group of materials all together, as there is no easy way to identify the material composition from the side of the road. Some grades would be less resistant to petrocarbons, lubricants and the like.

I have tried talking to the relevant engineers however to ones capable of undertaking and approving the calculations aren't interested in 4WDs and the ones who do the 4WDs aren't knowledgable enough or willing to qualify the design. At the end of the day the blocks are sitting on 12 to 40mm of rubber. The product I supply is an engineered product.
