Dint on dear bumper - PROBLEM!

I was at uni the other day and walked out to notice my car was slightly forward (parked) - was really odd. Looked around the rear bumper and realised some idiot back into me (most likely another 4WD with a hard rear bumper). No major damange thank god because the idiot didnt stick around and wait for me!

Anyway, I just went to open my back door and i couldnt open it. When the idiot backed into me, the plastic bumper had no where else to go but bent upwards and is pretty much blocking me from opening the rear door. Is there any way I can remove the bump myself?

hair dryer and a hammer will do it. :twisted:

Take the bumper off and make a tube bar for it :twisted:

nah take the bumper off, boil the jug and pour hot water into it, let it heat up and then pour the water out and then go at it with a hammer

i did that the other day with my coily's front bumper and it worked a charm

i have a really good looking and practical rear bumper here for sale if your keen.,polished alloy

take it apart straighten the bracket behind, then borrow a heat gun and watch it pop back out

you can use her straightener to fix your bumper!!!

Classic! I used hot water and broke the head of the hammer (although it was very old) - slipped straight off, slightly missing my head! Some minor damage under. Ill take the bumper off and post up some pics
