i cant seem to get my sump off, are there bolts behind the little metal piece attatched to the gearbox?
i need to get it off to replace the gasket, im just using the gasket goo cos i had some lying around and couldnt afford another $15 gasket
so anyway anyone got any ideas, pics would be a great help

A triple square hammerd in normaly does the trick or a chisle and a hamer to get it loose then your fingers.

you can also buy special sokets that will cover the bolt just as you turn it the soket has a sort of thread that shrinks and locks onto the bolt nice and tight making you able to remove it bunnings sell them they come in handy i cant remeber the name of them there in my brothers tool box

If you can get to it with a grinder, use a thin cutting blade to make a slot right across the head of the bolt. Then get the biggest flat head screwdriver that you can find and swing like hell. The heat from the grinder should help break the bolt free.
