being a "H" series motor it should bolt straight in, i'm guessing the pin out's & the ECU are going to be slightly different.

i'm keen to do the swap on my 2.0l 4cyl SV420 Vitara one day.

what haven't you done to a zook??? :wink:

did you have any major issues with the wiring side of things & did the motor just fall in & all line up like it should??

Just finished putting a 2.5 into a 95 lwb, it was all plug and play.

Check my ride thread and you will see many pics of a 2.5 going into a 1.6 G16b Not as easy as into a V6 though.

Go the 2.7. The extra power and torque is going to make u happier in the long run. not alot of extra fab work between the 2.5 or 2.7
