i already have 40mm suspension kit
quick couple of questions

1) will getting extended shackles effect the roll a heack alot?
2) will i need spacer's for driveline?
3) brake line extensions?
4) steering issues?

any help would be appreciated i did do a search but didn't find what i was looking for.

My humble opinion :

It probably won't improve on road performance .

When you flex (and the wheel goes down) and/or put longer shackles in the dif actually moves back towards the transfer case so if your tail shaft doesn't extend. So you should be fine on that count.

The difs don't go much further away unless the wheel is dropping out a long way. How tight are the brake lines on flex stock?, No idea what they look like anymore :/

Steering - Yea.... as above it just makes the zook more interesting to drive.

1) Probably not, though the shackles will twist around in the bushes more.
2) Very highly doubt it
3) Doubt it, but check to see if your suspension drops far enough to stretch the brake line anyway.
4) Yes, steering will feel lighter, it will self centre less, probably increasing your chances of getting death wobbles, the springs may move side to side a bit more when steering. Lots of fully sick stuff

If you do put them in, put in castor wedges in the front axle also. This will solve some of the steering issues. But why? There is no point IMO running them with most off the shelf suspension kits, it will only make your car worse. I'd only run them to stop long springs inverting.

i already had 2in springs and when i put in 2in shackles in, i ran out of down travel in my shocks, so i'm not going to have any extra travel or flex till i change my shocks. most shocks that come in 2in lift kits are standard height shocks

sorry hadn been home a while
iv got longer shocks on the front so i dont get up travel instead of changing shocks was thinking of the shackles.
i have got heavy duty springs that prevent to much roll with softer shocks but if its going to make things to dangerouse i may not

no they are not. if you put 50mm springs in a sierra and try to bolt up the original shocks you will find they are way short.

thats true my lifted shocks from the kit definatley longer than stock

Sounds like a good time to find some new "experts". Rear shocks will be at full extension with a two inch lift, or may not even fit.

does that apply to all vehicles, or just zooks with their short length leaf packs, coz i still have the standard shocks in my navara with a 2in lift and have had no dramas with them. just waiting for them to shit themselves before i fork out for new ones

It will vary between vehicles. Some standard shocks may still have suitable lengths. But more often than not you should change the shocks to get the best result from the new springs. Try flexing the nav with and without shocks and see if they are causing any restriction in travel. Remember the shocks primary job is dampening the suspensions motion. If you change the spring rate, then the dampening rate of the standard shocks may not be a very good match
