Perhaps an investment in an auto as well....and some diff gears...and some fully hektic suspension....and anti gravitational shocks...
The sand would theoretically load up the diffs, at 6,000rpm in high first the other option is that someone backed off the gas way too quick without pushing the clutch causing a compression like lock up.
