hey all im after a 1ltr transfer case, so i can reduce my gearing in a 1.3 92 sierra.
as far as i know it needs to be a 1ltr switch type?
needs to be in good working condition, no noises or leaks, i dont want to rebuild it.
will pay freight for it, and can supply my 1.3 transfer back if needed.
let me know, very keen for one!

Join the que....i think i've seen at least 6 ad of people chasing these latly.
Mate the easiest thing to do would be invest in a set of reduction gears.
1l transfers are 30years old now so basicaly most of them would be starting to need a rebuild and have some seals replaced.

Yoke's are different, the easiest way to pick the difference is the switch, hence why we ask switched or switch-less...

Not sure what you mean by he opened them up ??
Do you mean that he made you someting like this that bolts to the trafser 1 ltre patern and gives you the 1300 patern ??

Mate that is as clear as mud and does not explain what he has actually done on your conversion.
The flange off a 1300 transfer will bolt directly to a late 1 litre (switch type) transfer case as they have the same size splined shaft. This allows you to use your 1300 drive shafts.
The flange off a 1300 will not bolt to an early (non switch type) 1 litre transfer case because the early transfer has a smaller splined input shaft and smaller splined front output shaft, the rear output is the same on all of them.
You usually over come this with either an adapter or by using a hybrid uni and drive shaft flange made up of a 1300 shaft a 1 litre flange, two 1300 uni cups, and 2 x 1litre uni cups
From what you are saying it sounds like he cut and welded a 1300 transfer flange and a 1 litre transfe flange together
