ok im about to take a transfer out of my sj70 widetrack and swap it with my sj50 widetrack transfer is therre anithing different or anithing i have to know before i do it,

As far as I'm aware if they're both widetrack 1.3 transfers then all is good.

thats what i think too but anyway ive unbolted all the shafts and unplugged the speedo cable the only thing now is the plastic switch thingy that i can unplug apart without braking anyone know???

Sj50 has the handbrake on the transfer
Are you taking that off or using it

are you talking about the drum handbrake on the back of the transfer if so no im pretty sure it only 1L transfers that had that but no ths on is a 1.3L so the handbrake isnt on transfer

All nt have handbrake on case. All wt have handbrake on diffs. U nless someone has farked around with it of course

as long as the car is lifted, i doubt i would get under a stock zook with a transfer on my guts.

Did ya figure it out? It;s probably a broken or loose mounting point allowing it to beat on the side of the transmission tunnel. happened to me anyways.

checked ya unis? could be a broken weld on the cap of the jack shaft also.. I know mines busted a couple of times... + likes for Q bond lol..
