Has anyone had jackaroo rear springs in there suzuki?
because i got some i will go look at them tomorrow

Width? Length? # of leaves? Thickness of leaves? Centre pin location?

i had isuzu ute rears. they are 50mm wide like sierra but the ctr pin is 1.5" back and they are ~120mm longer. which is ideal for a zook. they are about a 3-4" lift. I am trying to remember, it has only been 6 year

hilux are way to big isit isuzu ,rodeo, jackaroo the same

hilux fit but are tight, they are 60mm wide and about 1150mm long with the pin sitting the diff about 25mm back in the rear.

i had a lux spring just sitting in my front and goes past the front bumper

thats becuuse front springs are shorter than rears, thats why people do ruf and hilux in the rear.

Is the extra 1.5" enough to cause problems with tyre clearance against the tank?

My tank has already lost enough capacity from dents, i won't be able to make it between servos if i lose any more :p

I spose i could just redrill the perch to move it 15 or 20mm forward again.

what about jackaroo springs front and rear or jack in rear and ruf will that work good

if you put rear jackaroo springs in the front you would need some lifted jackaroo springs for the back.... it would be very difficult to set up right aswell

what about if i was to put jackaroo ones front could i pull out somd leafs in the front and maybesome in the rear becauseif you put them in its like a 4 inch lift by pulling out leafs you get it lower and more flex.

They would be about 200mm longer than the standard fronts, the only way to fit them in would be to extend the chassis.

no it wont thats 100% ass about

less leaves = lower spring rate so more sag for same amount of free arch so it will sit lower

amount of leaves will make bugger all difference to amount of flex unless they are so stiff that you get no uptravel

unless he runs it on 2 leaves there is still going to be like 3" lift possibly more

do you know what the spring rate will be with 2 leaves?
do you know what the free arch of the springs will be with 2 leaves?
do you know how much weight there will be supported by the springs?
do you know what shackle angle and length he will be running

then how will you have any idea what height it will be?
leaf springs have a shitload of maths involved to know whats going to happen before you put it together, making a few assumptions on an internet forum about what a random combination WILL do is how people end up thinking something is the be all and end all of a mod, like drilling the mount back 25mm for RUF and commodore wagon shocks are the be all and end all of suzuki suspension, when in reality I did that like 5 years ago cause my 31's were fouling the bullbar, the shocks I had were too short, it was a hot saturday, I was hung over and wanted to go home
