What is the Spark Plug Gap for my 1995 Vitara, 1.6 EFI.

NGK - BKR6E

Can find my workshop book.

..............is it 0.7 to 0.8mm..??

Should be 0.8mm. Why do you need to gap them?

Should be gaped from factory, but know knows if someone hasn't dropped one, etc.

I've never had an issue with NGK plugs. They come with that protective tube

Checked them and they where all 0.9

Old plug where a bit white might be running lean.

I check new plugs even, as the manufacturer states, "should" be fine.

For the few secs it takes to check, great piece of mind.

Every oil change, I check them as well.

Usually perfect, but it takes bugger all time, and it will forecast a possible problem developing.

I run my plugs at 1.25mm, thats on a carby 1.3l

Hmmm 1.25mm is a pretty big gap

be careful your coil doesnt run too hot and burnout... but with a gap that big, it must ignite the fuel very well... :roll:

look nice to me, I posted a link here once about reading plugs and what things like that heat mark on the ground mean and so on

Those plugs look like they are burning well... but i did notice some rust on the thread of the plug, could be nothing, but you might want to keep an eye on that..

lol its impossible to to have rust on a plug thread in an alloy headed engine, its probably anti seize (in which case it needs more)
