hey guys
in the next couple of weeks i would lik to replace my clutch n rear main seal as it leaks lol. which is easyer to pull out my gear box or the motor and do i need any special tools to do it. Does the fly wheel hav to be reground or can i get away with not doin that

Pull the box and leave the engine in. You can do the seal and clutch from underneath.

Clutch alignment too might make your life a little easier.

You could get away without doing it, but if you want to do it properly get it reground. I guess it depends on how much you enjoy pulling out the gearbox

Check the yellow pages and see if there is a mobile flywheel guy in your area.

most clutch manufacturers won't warrant the clutch if you don't machine the flywheel. For an extra $50 it's cheap insurance knowing that you've done it right the first time.
