Hi guys I have a vit swb I am looking at the masterkit1 on ebay its a 2inch coil lift (spacers) and a 3 inch body lift. Does anyone have any thoughts on this kit. Good or Bad? or any other alternatives in the same price range $850

In my opinion 3" body lift is too much, you can run into a few problems.
Look in the business section, AZ has a good 2 " body lift kit maker.

well it sounds shit imo why do u want to lift it?and i agree 3inch body is to much coil spacers will not help with flex or anything thing so if ur looking for flex get a proper kit with coil's and shocks

I want to lift so I can keep up with my mate in his patrol 4 inch suspension lift (no wife and kids money to burn) On the other hand I have the ball and chain and donthave money to burn. Do you have any ideas on what to get in the same price.

And as other have said 3" BL is to much, so 2" from the business section is the way to go.

My version of fun on the cheap:
50mm body lift off justcruizin here on the forum
50mm coil spacers off Bruce here on the forum
Gabriel commodore shocks for the rear from Supercheap
Strut mount flip at the front and keep the stock struts.
2nd hand set of 30s or 31s depending on how much you want to pooch your gearing.
DIY some extended bump stop spacers.

Should be able to do the lot for a bit over $500 and will give you a shit tonne more clearance.

That is essentially what I am running in mine still with just a couple of extras (except I've got ridepro struts instead of doing the mount flip).

if it was me i would lock the rear and just get a ebay suspenion lift kit 2inch or so and look for some cheap muddies

I already have 30 muddies which have made a huge differance going up muddy hills doesnt help turning corners with them hitting the guards thats another reason why I want the lift sick of putting stockies back on for the black stuff

There are a few good options for lift kits on ebay... personally, i wouldnt buy anything i have never heard of before... i just did a search on ebay, here is what came up -

mate i run the cheaper style set up, but i run 180sx rear springs (50mm lift) in stead of standard plus spacers.

flex is pretty good condisering i have only spent about $120 on the rear not inc tyres ($50 for springs $50 for shocks, $20 for shock relocation brackets)

im an apprentice so $$ is always low, if $ is an issue then this is better that spacers. this set up gets me along way down the track, throw in a locker and 31's ur set.

given all that - a locker in the ass end would get you further than 1-3" more flex...

Yes that is the link to what i was talken about. 1 of my mates just gave me 35mm coil spacers he has told me this will be enough for the 30s to clear the guards. Is it worth putting a body lift in or would it be just looks

No amount of suspension lift/coil spacers will make the tyres clear the guards since it will still compress the same amount when articulating. You'd need to extend the bumpstops at the same time.

If you aren't planning on going bigger than 30s I wouldn't worry about the body lift. Just extend the bump stops and use a hammer to clearance any problem areas.
