:helloo:
I'm getting my new zook on Saturday and just wondering what the diff ratio is for my GV? I have done a net search and can't seem to find it. Maybe I need to learn how to search properly :D

did a bit of a search and i found this....

early 1.6swb GV's had 5.12
2.0l man gv = 4.8
2.0l auto GV = 5.12
2.5 V6 man = 4.3
2.5 V6 auto = 4.8.

You can use the vitara / X90 10bolt diffs in the front and 12bolt in the rear
Vitara ratios are 4.6, 4.8 and 5.12

Sierra lockrights can be used in either diff.
Air lockers are GV or Vitara.
Axles are 26 spline.
T/case gearing is available but only gives reduction in low range.
so if you want to go bigger tyres then find yourself some 5.12 diffs.

I have 5.12 front and rear. Front still has the air engagement.

You GV should have 4.8 diffs

you'll need to have the front 5.12 built into your steel housing, rear should bolt in.

No .

the alloy housing is the same as the steel one but just not as strong.
