ok its time to start to do a RUF
What I know, I think Please correct me if I am wrong
I am getting a full set of 2" rear springs (4 of)
cut off the rear spring mount off chasie and turn it around, weld back on?
cut off the front shackle mount and weld back on app 35mm forward?
Do I need a front tailshaft spacer after the RUF??
also doing front shock hoops

if you are moving the diff forward youll need a spacer, otherwise you dont really need to mover the rear mount back and the front forward but I can see that working well, not too far forward and not massive shackles

if you leave the rear mount in the stock spot, if you move it back it wont, depending on how much longer that side of the spring is and haw far you move it

x2 its a setup thats proven to work. I plan on doing the same replacing the front spring hangers with the LJ hangers.

We used to use LJ rear mounts on the front of our LJ when doing RUF in the mid 1980's, they are elongated and stick out off the back of the chassis where the front are not. Too hard to find LJ chassis to chop up these days so it's just as easy to make them up. Metal on the LJ ones is a bit thin anyway. These were made up for a RUF, NT to WT conversion.
