hi guy what fuel tanks have people put in there sierra swb and lwb

Is it possible to ask a question in a more vague way?

Do you want a larger tank?

Do you want an EFI tank?

Do you have a SWB or LWB?

Lots of tanks can and have been fitted to sierras over the years.

Christover had a Nissan 280C(?) tank in his LWB
I've used all the vitara tanks; 40, 55, 75 Litre

Random long range tanks have been used

just wanted to know what other people have installed in there sierras

A Baleno tank will fit under a tray.
They are ideal when fitting EFI to a trayback, and dirt cheap.

Ahh - with some more details it's much easier to help.

This is a 75 litre GV tank installed behind the cab on a LWB tray back.











You can see it till fits under the stock tray mounts.

It's actually a tiny bit too wide - it had to be bashed in a bit on the sides to clear.

I have the 55 litre version of the same tank in my car and had the same clearance issues - You can see where the tank sits here:





Mine sits a little higher than the one in the photos above - I had a suspension link I had to clear.

These tanks will fit behind the rear axle as well in a tray back .

Only pic I have ATM, but this is an 83L jackaroo EFI tank sitting snuggly between the rails of a LWB 1L trayback.

Any EFI jackaroo. So thats around 92-02. Mine was from a 98 I believe. They have ample pump size for just about any motor you could fit into a sierra, as the jacko had a 3L V6.
