I remember seeing someone do this, and i'm sure i've asked about it before, but I want to convert my Sierra's digi clock to a voltage read out. I seem to be drawing a lot more power in my new ride, so I want to keep a better eye on my battery's condition. I've had a search for the clock tweak but i'm coming up empty. If anyone remembers this mod, can they point me toward a link? Pleeeaase

Never heard of this one but I can't see why it isn't possible. Maybe even have a switched clock/battery display?
JrZuk is the first name that springs to mind... Put this one in the queue behind digital speedos.

A voltage read out is only going to tell you if the alternator is charging or not tho. Its not going to be much help otherwise

That one looks like a gauge from jaycar or something grafted into the clock.
Edit: there you go..

It would be cool if the suzuki clock could be used as the guage and was switchable back to the clock.

I think i'll get rid of the on/off switch and just run from the clock's ignition power source. Seems like a pretty straight forward mod.

I'd just stick one of these on the dash. You can get them from your local car store or jaycar for about $30odd
Clock, Stopwatch, Volt and temp meter.
