Hi guys maybe someone can post a link or inform me where I can obtain transfer reduction gears for low range not high to suit 98 jimny? Been doing some shopping at jimnybits but they used to stock the low/high reduction but have run out and won't be getting more any time soon. Need to be able to obtain these via Internet and easy shipping to OZ not hiring third party friends grandma that will forward it to first cousins mate via Mexico etc. Thanks in advance for the help guys! Oh while I'm at it if anyone can recommend someone whose half decent to install it around Central Coast NSW?

been answered a million times in last few weeks, but anyways...
Cant lower just low range in stock with those gears, they change the chain drive ratio, so thats high AND low reduction of 24%... trial jimny do these gears like JB's also btw.
you can get planetary gears from apio for just low range..... but no one does that, not economical to do and no one knows how to get them here.
therefore, its WT swap 90% of the time.
correct me if im wrong lads on any of this.

Jims run more efficiently doing 100 at 4000+. if you want it to "work less" (assuming u mean less rpm) at 110Ks it will use more fuel, believe it of not.

Fit bigger tires and get gears, either trailjimny or do the sierra transfer swap. there is heaps of info on here now. do a search first and if you dont come up with anything or have any questions just ask and someone will help, people on here are usually more than happy to help

Mine does a touch over 4000rpm at 110km/h. stock driveline. Just the tyres are 215/75 15's
