C) Which way is the temperature "wrong" too warm or too cold? After how much run time? In the sun or shade? The HVAC can't measure the temperature of surfaces in the car, only the air entering the plenum via the temp sensor. There's a big variation of materials and heat gain inside the the car - they are a very poorly insulated space.
jeep tried to get around this with IR sensors aimed at the front seats on the grand cherokee. don't know if they still do.

A) I have a thermocouple connected to electrical meter
B) I did this morning at the air near air vents in the middle, but will do near the small grill near HVAC system sensor. I takes me to get to work/home an hour so it is pretty accurate
C) I set it up to 25degC to get 20deg at the meter
I can go to the dealer, but just thought that it might be undocumented feature like pressing here and there to get into a menu. VW Golf had that feature.
