Yes.

NT 1.3 is 3.909
1.0lt is 4.11

But they're not interchangable as both the ring and pinion set and also the whole housing are different sizes (1.0lt is smaller), but you can swap the complete axles (Drum to drum, or disc to disc).

Thanks mate! So if my 1 ltr is an 88 model and it has the wider tunnel etc, would It still be running the 1ltr axles? It's a late 88

bit of confusion going on here. 88 is a nt 1.3 not a 1lt. it has a 1.3l engine. it willl have nt diffs with 3.9 1.3l size centers.
nt 1l has a higher ratio and are smaller but not interchangable with nt 1.3 or wt 1.3

I know a fella that has a 1998 1.0 so a 88 is very possable

jack the back up so wheels are off the ground. for 4.1 ratio is 4 turns of the drive shaft to one rotation of the wheel.

Yep, the only 1l that had 1.3l sized diff centres was the WT Maruti (mid 90s onwards).

All 1ls have a 4.11:1 diff ratios. The only way it would be different is if someone had fitted LJ50 (4.88:1), LJ80 (4.556:1) or Super Carry (5.12:1) diff gears, or swapped the 1l diffs out for 1.3l ones.

I'm just looking at buying a set of 1.3 axles.. But the guy wants to sell them as a hole with the centres. And I always want to get the higher ratio for a better drive, as I'm running a 1.6..
