hi just looking at at geting an mk1 gti swift ( hole runing car)

also i have a 2.5" body lift in my sierra

what parts do i need to buy to fit it to my sierra
- dissy ( can i get away with useing the stock gti dissy or do i have to get the angle drive kit
- wiring ( is there any think special that i need to buy
-fuel ( can i get an inline pump insted of an in tank one
-clutch ( can i use the stock sierra one
-cooling ( what rad hoses do i need to get or buy - aleardy using an thermo fan on the sierra
- exhaust ( what manifold will fit or is it an custom jobby
-engine mounts ( what ones do i need to get


-any think i have missed


is there an link to an guied to what ineed to mod to fit it in my sierra

As per Scrawn's post, Chinny had a good result using a Mazda dizzy cap and rotor.

Just make sure you have the loom with the engine. Have you got a copy of the GTi FSM?

Yep, you can do that. I'd highly recommend a surge tank with a 2nd pump though.

Custom. Get some Sierra extractors and a GTi flange. Cut the flange off the Sierra extractors and have them welded to the GTi flange. Fatzook on this forum should be able to hook you up with a GTi flange.

Stock Sierra mounts will fit.

you have to use an angle drive on a mk1 motor because the mazda dizzy cap won't fit the mk1 dizzy

can i give the firewall an little love tap with a big hammer of that wont work with the mk1

it would have to be a big love tap
when using a mazda dizzy cap on a mk3 motor you have to take the motor out to get the dizzy cap off because there is only a couple mm clearance
you'd need to cut a hole rather than massage it with a hammer but thats way too dodgy angle drive is the best way to go

can u use na mk2/3 dissy on the mk1 motor or that wont work eather

dame more money this is going to cost more then i have atm

at least using the g13b for a conversion you won't need an adaptor kit like you would for a g16 the angle drive is the only major expense other than the motor

yer that ture and the exhuast is the other big expence getign it cut and rewelded to fir the g13b

it shouldn't cost that much as long as you have some sierra extractors and the gti exhaust flange
it would be piss easy to do yourself if you can weld

dont have the extractors and havent ever done any welding do will have to get some one else to do it ( can u sue the stock sierra header with the gti flange or will it be to restrictive)

to be honest i can't even remember what a stock sierra manifold looks like
if you were gonna stuff around changing flanges you'd get a set of extractors any exhaust place should be able to weld the flange on
