Hey guys,

Having the issue with sourcing a idler tensioner pulley for the M13A

Only one i have been able to source is http://www.suzistore.com.au/shopexd.asp?id=1897

For $250 thats crazy!!! Autobarn, Repco, Supercheap etc... have no idea what i am on about either :S

Reason for trying to find one is, it is destroying the P/S A/C belt and has visible signs of due replacement.

Has anyone attempted to even replace *just* the bearing?

On i think http://www.suzuki-forums.com , a few people spoke about doing this same replacement on there late model GV's? pictures looked as though it was the exact setup as our M13A's??? :S

ANY info is highly appreciated!

Pull it off, From memory it is a bearing inside that could be bought at a bearing place. Im using one but on a different motor.

How big does the tensioner look? I could be getting mixed up with another baleno one i have

I agree pull it off. and take it to a bearing place will save you heaps

pretty sure its only 2 bolts that hold it on.

Oh, yeah of course those too.. but i specifically remember someone mentioning a NON-suzuki part (Read: Not $$$$). Ah well bugger it... itll come to me eventually. But yeah, as the boys have said. just press out the bearing and get a replacement... piss.

Ok the one i have here is the same. 88mm diameter. Bearing runs smooth but the surface where the belt was running, there is a groove, the width of the belt, like the rubber belt has worn in

It is all pressed together. 1 piece. You could maybe try and pry one of the sides off, but could be risky.

Yeah maybe, It really doesnt look like it would like to come apart.

Looks like a unique component, thats why they can charge so much.

pm'd.
