Can you guys tell me the name if some build threads where they have 2 inch spring and 2 inch body with 33s. Thanks in advance.

I'm running 2 inch body and some well settled 65mm efs on ruf. I'm running 32's with eaze. There are a couple of pictures in my build thread which should be in my profile.

I have about 2.5 inch spring lift and 1 inch body lift for 33s

how do you get bloody 33s on with no lift?? that stumps me.

I'll just put this out there again as a reminder.

35's. no lift.

There's almost no difference in labour between cutting the guards a little bit and cutting them a lot. Whilst that hardtop isn't setup exactly how I'd do it, it proves what's possible if you are willing to cut.

My point is cutting. Many signatories these days are very shy of vehicles that have severe cuts applied to them. Just bear in mind the when the authorities get involved.

Hillbilly, how do you get the front centre on the Sierra diff to clear the chassis rail of the LJ?

LJs have more space in the guards, well in the front anyway. I can't speak for the back as I don't have a SWB LJ here. The head lights are also closer together and higher up than a Sierra so there's no issue there.

Will be going for a small guard chop (just going to take it up to the top of the wheel arches so maybe that's actually a big chop) but the plan is to do it properly, considering I'll be running 50mm body lift (have to) and 50mm spring then I think it won't be a drama with 33's

The flares will cover the guards properly so there shouldn't be a problem.
