IV found a baleno engine and loom and computer to put in my sierra is they any thing else I need then a adaptor plate? Its a coil pack engine

A VSS from a vitara (or any other suzuki with a VSS)
EFI fuel system/tank
You'll need to cut and shut the sierra sump to fit the Baleno crank angle sensor.
You'll need to sort out the water neck/thermostat housing from the back of the baleno block. I've seen early swift thermostat housings used.
You'll probably want a vitara viscous fan to cool it once it's finished
EFI vitara or Jimny extractors, new exhaust
some sort of airbox solution. I don't think the baleno one will work at all. Jimny might be the easiest, although it's far from the best solution.

Can't think of anything else, although I'd recommend swapping to a falcon alternator whilst the engine is out, throw in a new timing belt and water pump whilst it's easy to do as well.

Vehicle Speed Sensor.

EFI vitaras, some swifts, and some other random suzuki stuff have a VSS that's integrated into the speedometer. There are lots of threads on how to fit one in a complicated way, but the easy way is to remove the whole speedo unit from a vehicle with a VSS and bolt it into your sierra cluster. The sierra cluster is already designed to take a VSS - the holes are already there to bolt it in.

The car will run fine without it, but it will throw a check engine light. The problem is that if the check engine light is lit all the time, you won't know if there is a "real" problem.

I did a search but couldn't find any specific photos of the job if you swap the whole speedo over, but it's basically a remove and replace job, so not hard if you're contemplating the other tasks required for a baleno swap.

I'm interested by this. I've heard this before, but it's contradicted by the conversion we did in the trolley tug - the Vitara VSS is working fine.

I'm sure that the Baleno doesn't see the "correct" vehicle speed, but the ECU isn't throwing a VSS error code, so I'm going to assume that so long as the ECU sees the car is "moving" It's enough to prevent an error code.

That's my take on it.

As far as I am aware, Doof, (another car in the club down here) runs a vitara VSS into a Jimny computer and manifolds on a G16 bottom end, The Jimny ECU was then patched to a Vitara AW-4 and it throws no codes and shifts fine on and off road. (I've driven it)

Please don't think that I'm disagreeing with you that the frequency is different - I have no doubt it is - only that the vitara VSS will "work" to prevent trouble codes, which is all I'm interested in it doing.
