Hi guys i have used the search tool & come to no conclusion, i own a 94 swb g16b vitara of wich i recently blew a fist sized hole in the front alloy housing, Ive since purchased a steel gv housing to swap over & i thought whilst im at it i'l fit a front locker ive looked at several forum threads wich say the 1510 lock-rite from a sierra will fit. In searching for the best deal i received an email from low range off road wich states that i need the 1512 or 1532 & rocky road outfitters advised me that a 4 pin carrier from a pre 90's vit is required to make the 1510 fit. ive also read that people are running 1510's in both the front & rear of their vits Has anyone on here successfully fitted the 1510's & if so what exactly is required. thanks in advance miki

1510 will fit.
The difference is it comes with the pins used in the sierra diff. You dont need these pins when installing in a Vit center.

I had at one stage a 1510 and a 1512 lockright on the work bence and they were identicle......except the 1510 came with replacement cross pins. Side gears are the same tooth count. Its only spline count thats different.
