Is this possible?
I have read thread numerous threads but there is no distinction between 1.0L NT and 1.3L NT which add to the confusion.
I have a 1.0L NT sierra I want to put 1.3L WT diffs in while retaining the current 4.11 diff ratios i have now. I already have bigger tyres than standard so the car is already geared down. Utilising the 3.7 ratios from the WT diffs will make this worse
Thanks

WT Marutis have 4.11:1 diff ratios in a 1.3l size. They're a bit rare, but they'l do exactly what you want. They must be from a WT Maruti, NT ones have 1l diffs. You cannot use the gears from a 1l diff.
Another option would be using Vitara front diff R&Ps. They're anywhere from 4.3 to 5.12. You could also use 1.3l NT gears which are 3.9:1.

LEGEND Thanks for the info, exactly what im after.
Seems my only option then is to buy an aftermarket gearset or go the vitara R&P route as I do not want to reduce the ratio at all

No worries. If you go door knocking on farms it wouldn't be to hard to find a dead WT Maruti.

I'm so confused.
Whats a Maruti? I got a Sierra Ute (I think, it was sold to me as a stockman) and I have no idea what is what any more.

A maruti is an Indian built LWB Sierra. They were sold here after Suzuki stopped selling LWB Sierras.
There are 2 diffent types of Stockman. The last models of LJ were called Stockmans. Marutis are also called Stockmans, supposedly only traybacks were called Stockmans but practically every styleside I've seen has been badged as a Stockman.
If the year under your name is right then your is not a Stockman as it's a genuine Suzuki Sierra LWB. Specifically, yours is an SJ41.
A lot of people call all trayback Suzukis Stockmans, it's a very common misconception.

sideways wrote: A lot of people call all trayback Suzukis Stockmans, it's a very common misconception. The LAST stockman was an LJ. AFAIK, suzuki never released any sierra stockmans. These were sticker packs fitted at the dealerships to appeal to the farmers who had fallen in love with the light weight, agile and highly capable LJ stockmans. Its like how suzuki slapped the sierra badge onto the back of a jimny in a vain attempt to imply that the jimny was in some way comparable to the offroad capabilities of its predecessor. Sierras build code starts with SJ, maruti build code starts with MG. Simple.

Yes. It all goes in the same, except that you will need the NT 1.3L u-bolts and spring plates, and you will need to change your driveshafts to suit the 1.3L pinion flange.
