Its possible, but probably will root the gears pretty fast.
You need crush tubes at the very least per side.
You could get lucky and not need shims... if you need shims and dont have them, you will probably root the gears.
You will need a dial indicator to set it up, and gear paste helps to ensure correct gear meshing, using the trial and error method.
