Does anyone know off hand what size tube to buy for extending all the case breathers for Diffs etc?
Also would it matter what the tube is? that cheap clear stuff, a bit more heavy duty black rubber one or would you need to worry going to braided or anything? (I don't think you would need to but thought I'd ask)

1/2" fuel hose with go on top. But its bulky I reckon.
Adding a 1/4" barb to use 1/4" fuel hose has worked without fail for me.

with that, do you need to drill the existing breathers? or is the thread tap right to go straight in?

You tap the existing hole slightly just enough to get the connector piece in

Yeh I had a look at those, will either run with one of those kits or I had a design in mind to fabricate for a little breather box out of some stainless and a mini filter, am just working out where I want to mount it all.
Where do you all think to mount them? I was going to preferably not do it in the engine bay, I was actually thinking up high near the roof line inside the rear of the car, or having 2 if need be (to cut down the length of hose required) one at front and one at rear. Would there be any problems mounting it on the inside?
