Hey all I have a lock rite in the front of my sierra! The last few times out it has been wet and the locker will be working great then gets to a slippery bit and starts ratcheting... And looses drive to one wheel!
I thought I may of cracked a chromo but it does it in both sides and only does it every now and then but its when ya need it it throws the towel in!
What is causing this? Broken pins? When its under load it stays in....
Cheers

Yeah it was mine we made pins for still going strong hahaha..... If you need shims I've got a couple from the other diff we pulled apart!!! And if you order a pin kit ill jump in with ya and have a spare
And that made it all good again? Can't wait to rip it out...... Haha
This was how mine was. Re shimming fixed the front and its still going strong, it tightened up the rear locker making it less likely to slip on flat ground but it would still give out when trying to climb. I have since replaced the rear with a spool.
