Pretty sure my rear LHS wheel bearing shit itself on Friday as my wheel started to wobble pretty bad... Tried pulling my LHS axle off but it's proper stuck :/ Thinking my wheel bearing has shit itself and is blocking the axle from coming out. RHS came off piece of piss, 2 pulls.

Last time I pulled it to change diffs it was pretty hard to take off and put back in but this is ever worse.

Any suggestions how to get it out? Mate said maybe heat it up?? Need it fixed asap..

Cheers

What have you tried so far?

Re-fitting the wheel (use the biggest/heaviest one you have) and doing the nuts up just a couple of threads each, then using it as an oversize slide hammer works for me every time.

Just got the drum flipped and pull on that. I don't think I'll be able to use the 32s as a slide hammer because the diff is amost on the ground

Tried looking for a slide hammer today but no one has any decent sized ones...

Jack the diff up? Make sure it is well supported (axle stands, spare wheel under it just incase etc).

You need to try harder ;)

Attach chain to axle. Wrap other end of chain around sledge hammer head and swing it away from the car (again - acts as a mega over-size slide hammer). That said I reckon the 32 is more effective personally, you just need to brace yourself and be particularly violent when pulling to get as much momentum as possible in the 15 odd mm of space you have.

I know that you have already got it out. just thought I would vouch for the chain technic I have done in the past works a treat I don't have a sledge so it was an axe in my case.
