is there any bigger radiator fan for a swb 1.3ltre holden drover? the one thats on it now seems to small.

Bolt in a vitara viscous fan. No modifications are required. It's much bigger than a 1.3 fan, and it's 500% more reliable than an electric fan.

Yes, but you need the viscous hub that goes in the middle too.

Here are some comparison photos.



From left, a 1.0 fan, a vitara fan and a 660cc sierra fan, which is basically the same as a 1.3 fan.



And a 660cc/1.3 fan laid over the vitara fan.



And the vitara fan in the car. It's a really tight fit inside the 1.3 shroud, which is awesome for the efficiency of the fan. This was my car running a 660, but it doesn't matter. Fan location and radiator is the same. I swapped from this to a magna thermo which was the same size due to water pump problems and my car overheated. Electric fans bring the suck.

Get one from a wrecker. I think you can get knockoffs from Ebay, but as they are non genuine, who knows?

I don't know anybody that has fitted one of these that has subsequently had ANY problem with overheating.

It's what I would run if I still had the radiator in the front of my car.

Id be looking at some thing else thats giving you the overheating issues. Stock fan should work fine.

I disagree. I recall a club member with a stock sierra that was fresh off the showroom floor overheating in 1996. They don't overheat with a vitara fan.

Make sure the stock fan is bolted on the right way. I made that mistake lol

might be 500% more reliable than a electric fan , but its still less reliable than a direct drive fan that they come with stock.
