it's pretty straight forward, i use this technique



make sure you mark driveshaft so it goes back together the same way. mark the slip joint & either end of the driveshaft & the flanges/yokes.

this is the other way, but be careful not to butcher the shaft with the grinder http://www.auszookers.com/forum/viewtop ... it=uni%27s

i guess sierra's being a good few years old & most having done real offroad work unlike most vits they're probably well & truly seized.

i found that once in the vice with a little bit of load on them a decent knock on the ears usually is enough to shock the cap free... don't keep winding if it feels like it's binding up.

I gave it a crack in my vice but no good.... I didn't wanna wack it too hard.... My mate has a press I will use....

I did a how to thread a few years ago. Piss easy technique, just need a solid bench and a good copper hammer.
