Shocks don't have any effect on vehicle height.

They will probably allow up to 2" lift by way of fitting heavy duty (Raised springs) which either are taller or more heavy duty (don't Compress as much) Or alternatively spring spacers.
You could install them with the standard springs (If not to long) but will make no difference in height (you will need spacers to raise the vehicle). if no spacers are fitted with standard springs and the shocks are too long you are at risk of dislodging a spring when a wheel gets off the ground. Hope this makes sense?
What shocks did you get?

They will extend further than stock shocks, and probably bottom out sooner than stock shocks. Unless they bottom out before your springs are taking the weight of the car they won't change the ride height. Springs do that.
You need longer springs to match the shocks, and then yes, the rear will sit higher than the front, so you'll need longer struts and taller front springs to suit.

Much in the same way that a bigger pillow case doesn't lift your head further off the bed, a bigger/longer shock absorber won't lift your car. Sure, it might "suit" a suspension lift in the same way a bigger pillow case might "suit a bigger pillow" but it won't do a damn thing on its own.

Nope. Only springs control ride height. Struts and shocks have no effect.

Dobinson struts?
Struts = front Shocks = rear
I would just get some king springs around 330 for 4 and that will raise it just under 2 " i havent seen many aus manufactures actually make a true 2" setup. its usually around 35 to 40mm, but 2 inch seems to be the golden sales number.
