No need for chassis extension with sierra ruf just redrill the rear hanger bolt hole 20/25mm or so.

I read all there is out there about ruf

just thought that CJ springs are longer, but not as long as YJ's so i thought they would be good.
better articulation and better ride...

another question...

which tire size is better?
33/10.5/15 or 235/85/16?

can the samurai rear axle live in peace with the 33's?

33 10.5 has a lower load rating and more sidewall. If it's super slippery the added ground pressure of the narrower 235 will work better.

I'd run 33 10.5, but I run stupid tyres so I might not be the best judge. I do also like 235 85's.

33x10.5 better offroad but more likely to bust stuff and possibly be heavier sucking more hwy power

thanks guys! i will stay with the 235/85R16...

what about the front suspension? do you think that CJ's in front will make an improvment comparing to ruf?

No. Not enough to justify the chassis extension, loss of approach angle and hassles with wrap/dive caused by running a spring that long de-rated far enough to work on the front of a Sierra.

Hello everyone again...
th eproject is going on... a lot of gear i ordered from Low Range and trail tough has arrived.

but i do have second thoughts on the tyre size...

is it true that with 235/85/16 the wheel bearings wont last long? in a matter of 3 monthes...
will 31's will be easier for the bearings?

No that is not true. Tyre width and rim offset has more effect on wheel bearing life than diameter.

235's are narrower and go on a narrower rim= better for bearings.

im running 31x10.5's on 15x7 -38mm rims and it's been about 1.5 years since my wheel bearings were replaced. Though the drivers side required a tighten up just recently.
