Anyone ever had to swap a rear hub seal before? And if so can you give me a rough idea how to do it? Would be much appreciated

Huh? There's no such thing.

If you mean an axle seal, it's an easy remove and replace job, assuming the cause for seal failure isn't a failed wheelbearing or damage to the seal surface on the axle sleeve.

A rear hub seal? O.o never heard of that.. As Steve said, might be an axle seal? In that case its easy.. Just work your way inwards past the hub until you got the axle, remove the axle pop out seal replace and go in reverse..

Hope the pic works, this is the rear axle assembly and axle housing assemblies. Which bit are you referring to?

In the first pic, the axle seal is item 7. Seems like this would most likely be the bit your referring to. If you've ordered a bit over the net can you post a link to it?

#7 is the seal protector - the seal is #6
