Please help!!
I have 1993 vitara lwb, Has a g16b efi engine in it.
Around a month ago the engine got a little wet (Seriously only a little)
Ever since it has beeing missing low down in the revs,
I've changed leads, Plugs, Distributor, Done a compression test, Any help as to what the cause might be?
Its using more fuel due to this, It also seems to be a little slower (could just be me thinking that though)
Thanks!!!

Where did it "get a little wet" - externally, or in the intake?

I was there, the car literally went through the hole, splashed water up, when the driver pulled up, I popped the bonnet and there was no water anywhere near the top, just a bit dripping from near the engine cross member and bottom of the radiator.

Oh OK. Check for water in the intake - does it have the old style AFM? (big cone) could be the AFM or its connections got wet

Don't g16b's run funny when the rank key way is worn?
The symptoms you have may be unrelated to the water. Just a coincidence it's happened at the same time.

well it didn't actually start directly after the water, It happened around an hour or 2 later but i just sorta asumed that may have been the reason?
