LOOM SWAP

Complete swap including the stalks
91 Lwb Jx g16b (auto) to a sj51 g13

What are the issues with swapping to a manual from the donor auto?

Anyone got wiring diagrams etc or a guide or doing the complete swap

Thanks

Just slap it all in and use a simple relay to power up the ignition on the vit loom to match the sierra igntion signal.
If you try strip it all down with no idea theres every chance you will stuff it. Suzistore and suzishop in the west will do a cut down labelled vit loom

Okay how about...

Using the entire loom apart from the auto plugs

Is there any difference considering the gearbox is not electronically controlled

You need to get a loom made... We have a 1.6 conversion and it was a PITA.... The new tagged loom was a "must have"!!!!

The ecu for the auto box is seperate so in short yes you can run the auto loom with a manual. I know on balenos the ecu is the same for both box configurations.
I wouldnt say a cut down loom is a must have, if planning on cutting the loom yourself it can be benifical to install a full loom to remove any troubleshooting issues initially and then begin chopping
