Hey guys just bought a lwb zook it has a holley/webber 180 i think it is not sure weither to rebuild that or i have to stanard 1.3 carby wich is better. As i do alot of highway driving and beach and bush 4wding..

Need your help guys cheers joel

people with webbers have had problems on steep inclines.

But if its used lots on highway and beach (where there's no angles) then I would keep the webber. It will give better on road performance

Webbers dont tend to like hills moreso then most other carbies.
stock carbies are pretty well matched to the motor but lack oomf but will allow you to run a snorkel easier and i think you will get better fuel economy from a stock one.(someone correct me if i'm wrong)

but, I'd personally go the Holley 180 (I have one in the box new waiting to go on

) more go to them and they can handle hills better then the webber 32/36 I have..

ok cause atm its flooding on level ground and leaking fuel everywhere i went a bought a 1.3 carby today but still not sure cuase this one needs a kit put through it aswell.

well since youve already got the webber, check out what the price difference in rebuild kits are. Chances are the 1.3 carby could have more wrong with it then the (newer?) Webber and the rebuild kits From what i looked at were easier to get, some stores stock the webber rebuild kits on the shelf..

ok well ill look into getting the webber fixed as i have the extractors and 2 inch now the carby has holley stamped in the side does that matter?

I forgot to mention its running a electric fuel pump will that matter

only if it doesnt have a pressure reg... webers like around 4psi from memory (my memory is wayyy fuzzy so thats not gospel)

Its not a webber then?. Holley and Webber are 2 different makers..

The 32/36 webber, and the 180 holley are basically identical.

Shakes is right, 4psi max.

Hi All, Are Webbers on 1.3lt Sierra's street legal in NSW please - IE will they pass a BLUE slip inspection?
