Hey Guys,

I am trying to find the best way to flare my Jimny with chopped gaurds.
i tryed the normal flare you can buy from Clark rubber but nothing to screw to as the gards been chopped to much

any ideas be grate i don't really want to spend more than $200.

I will be doing this on mine shortly, I am going to knock up some propeller plate trims around the edge of the body where I cut the flares off, then make a small diameter tube frame to bolt to that time (the tube frame will be the outside edge of the flare) and then fill it in with sheet or propeller plate - I think it will be lucky to cost 150 - all you need as a grinder and a welder an some scrap

When you do can you take lots of pics i can not quit picture it

a negative 2 cents reply from you? how unusual. It's quite tiring. Try to cheer up and realise that people have ideas and taste different to yours - offer constructive criticism if you think it will help out but I'm sure no one really gives a crap about all the comments that get posted regarding your dislikes unless they asked for them

Chequer plate is good for step treads and anywhere else looks tacky and cheap and is usually dangerous IE door trims.. Yay cheese grater.

Also seeing as its shiny the plod might be onto you fairly quickly over it...

Not leaving it bare - am painting it so it won't be too much of an eye sore. It will either be that or just flat sheet but ill see what is available when I go to do it

The only place checker plate is cool is on the front guards of a Land Rover, provided it's painted satin black.

Has any one used the bush wacker flairs on a jimny

If I get round to running more offset, ill be trying DBOR flairs, all rubber, and should just pop rivet or nutsert on.

there is a white Jimny on here with them, i'd do some research before buying as they're expensive & fragile... lots of people report that they break easy.
