Im after the sensor from the dizzy. New or used I dont care.
Its from a 92 16B vit engine

What's up with that one mate? These are one of the most robust sensors out there! Only real way to kill them is with physical impact. If it is actually buggered you can also source them out of 1.3L dizzy's. Just have to remove the ignition coil amplifier which is also soldered on.

One of the wires is chopped and I didnt want to have joins in them (just another place to get a defect)

burls wrote: (just another place to get a defect) Defect? If you doing the engine conversion you will have other joins and cuts in the wiring. If soldered properly and covered in heat shrink you wont have any issues. If your not up to that I'm sure I could help you out.

I'm up to it no worries about that and that's what I will do if I cant get one, thanks for the offer though. I just dont like soldering joints in the bay where it can get hot

I tried a sierra one but they are mirror image and cant be made to fit.
I would consider a whole distributor or even and engine if it comes to that

It worked, I used the coil from the sierra dizzy so I don't need one anymore
now time to go wheeling
