I have the common oil leak coming from where the distributor bolts to the head. Put in a new suzuki o-ring from suzistore, still there and the o-ring wasn't pinched. Hit it with permatex blue gasket stuff, lasted one trip and now leaks again. Anything else I can do?

Not much else above it. Valve cover? I'll go have a look

Negatory. It is very clearly coming from the bottom of the distributor housing and spilling onto the water outlet housing.

I mean further up the distributor. if it ain coming out around the o ring cos you have fixed it, it must be coming from some where else

The dizzy housing also houses the rocker shaft coming out the back of the head. Although the shaft has an oring near the end it goes hard and leaks oil so you also need to put some silicone around the housing there.

Yup all of the way around the outside sleve. Doesn't effect operation but oil is bypassing the o-ring.

Ya its a bit of a bastard. I have found them between $180-$320. Might just set the timing and gasket seal it in to plug the leak for now. That won't be rough as guts.
