Yeah if I can not find a diagram I will just trace it back into the wiring loom, it is just easier with the diagram.

There must be different models of the ECU. I have a partial diagram that PJ.zook sent a while ago that appears to be correct for my ECU. It is attached.

There is also the model information of my ECU and a photo of the PCB.

According to my diagram, A11 = Engine start switch.

Just beaware that there are a few different models of computers running this motor, and the wiring codes are very different.

Zachius, my ECU has all the same numbers as your does. I used PJ's partial diagram and it all worked.

Yes, A11 is VCC. I was looking at a different page when I posted last time.

You won't/shouldn't need it. Mine ran perfect without the load signal. (Vit system)

It should be the Powersteering pressure switch. C16. From my hand written notes from years ago! Its a Green with White stripe off the ecu.

If you need the colours for any other motor running wiring, i have them all written down here. 2000 coilpack motor. Unsure ECU Number.

I'm stuck on 'EL+' it's a Pink/Black wire from A16
It runs to a diode in the J/B then comes out as Red/Yellow and Brown/White.
Anyone know where the diode is? I can locate it. Is J/B a junction box?

The G13b/a is a POS!, You hear the thing idle up whether you turn the fan on or put your lights on. The G16b doesnt need it. The Bal alternator can handle it. No Drama's.

Can someone tell me why no one uses the stock sierra tacho? Can't it be wired up? or do you have to use the baleno tacho?

PJ's diagram says the Sierra tacho will not work. I didn't even try.
I have no idea why it doesn't work, maybe Tim knows.

It wasn't that hard to install the Baleno Tacho, just a little fiddly.

I used Bal tacho and faces for both speedo and tacho, vit vss cable speedo mechanics.

Hey guys, currently about to start my own 1.6 conversion.

The only thing I'm worried about is the tacho. Is it possible to keep the stock coily tachometer face? Even better, to keep the entire stock tachometer in place?

I didn't do my own conversion but I have the stock tacho , if I remember rightly it just takes one resistor changed or added .
The guy that did mine found out how from suzi store in Perth.

The only difference going on that I could see, is the Bal tacho, has an "E" printed on it

Yes, the circuit should be the same but the component values may be different.

My first zook I used the Baleno Tacho circuit grafted into the Sierra Cluster, with Baleno gauge/face and cut down Baleno shroud to suit gauge. I also ran Baleno Speedo Gauge.

My new one has a Sierra Gauge but Baleno circuit. Baleno real RPM is remarked by a tiny line with a texta..Its close enough though. When it idles it purrs, When you hit max revs it bounces of the rev limiter from the ecu. So you don't really need the Tacho.
